Location notifications
Fachbibliothek Historicum
Study Period at LMU: Extended reservation rules apply from May 18, 2026, to July 29, 2026. To use the workspaces at the Fachbibliothek Historicum, a reservation via Anny is required; reservations are available to all LMU members. The existing reservation options for members of the academic community remain in place. Non-LMU members cannot reserve workspaces. Alternative workspaces at the University Library can be found in the workspace finder.
Fachbibliothek Philologicum
Study Period at LMU: Extended reservation rules apply from May 18, 2026, to July 29, 2026. To use the workspaces at the Fachbibliothek Philologicum, a reservation via Anny is required; reservations are available to all LMU members. Fachbibliothek Wirtschaftswissenschaften und Statistik
Due to internal faculty events, the "Freskensaal" (Fresco Hall) will be closed on the following days:
- Tuesday, May 12, 2026, all day
- Thursday, May 21, 2026, 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.
- Friday, May 22, 2026, 8 a.m. – 7 p.m.
Fachbibliothek Englischer Garten
There may be noise pollution in the Fachbibliothek Englischer Garten until 31 May 2026. This is due to construction work in the StuBistro Oettingenstraße, which is located directly below the library.
Wissenschaftliche Bibliothek Klinikum Großhadern
Due to major construction work, there may be periods of increased noise at the Wissenschaftliche Bibliothek Klinikum Großhadern until 31 August 2026.
