Notifications regarding University Library services in the LMU main building
Circulation area
Lending from the circulation area will only be possible until 6:00 p.m. on the following Fridays:

PC room 2
PC room 2 (F108) will be closed from Monday, March 16, to Thursday, April 2, due to floor work. During this time, you can use pc room 1 (F008) instead.

Location notifications
Fachbibliothek Englischer Garten
There may be noise pollution in the Fachbibliothek Englischer Garten until April 20, 2026. This is due to construction work in the StuBistro Oettingenstraße, which is located directly below the library.
Wissenschaftliche Bibliothek Klinikum Großhadern
The Wissenschaftliche Bibliothek Klinikum Großhadern will be closed from Monday, March 16, 2026, until Friday, March 27, 2026, due to major construction work. In preparation for the construction work, there may be temporary increased noise pollution starting on Wednesday, March 11, 2026.
Anyone who needs urgent access to the library's holdings during the closure period should contact kgh@ub.uni-muenchen.de.
