Our offerings cover a broad spectrum:

  • General introduction to the library and research: Overview of the services offered by the university library and the basics of searching catalogs and databases.
  • Subject-specific research: Strategies and tools for targeted literature and information searches in your field
  • Research data: Fundamentals of research data management, from planning, organization, and documentation to storage, publication, and reuse.
  • Historical collections: Work on original holdings from the Rare Books and University Archive Division
  • AI in scientific writing: Use of AI-supported tools for research, text production, and analysis of scientific information
  • Publishing: Support for scientific publishing of text- or data-based work, including open access options
  • Writing during your studies: time management and work planning, dealing with writer's block and procrastination, developing writing routines, writing styles and working methods – workshops offered by the Writing Center.
  • Writing Fellow Program: Writing training in your course and support for students by trained peer tutors from the Writing Center
