AI in academic writing: Our e-learning course on Moodle

Artificial intelligence has become an integral part of our everyday lives – including our studies. Many students already use tools such as ChatGPT to complete their academic assignments. But how can such tools be used responsibly and sensibly? How can you keep the basics of academic work and writing in mind? How can you avoid being suspected of cheating?

The writing center offers a self-study course for students on LMU Moodle. In addition to the basics of academic writing with AI, the course provides practical ideas and strategies for the reflective use of AI tools such as ChatGPT when writing academic papers and theses.

The courses are available free of charge on YouTube; registration is not required.
